The Atlanta Association of Gutter Contractors (AGCA) is dedicated to empowering gutter contractors across the country. Our mission is to unify the industry, raise standards, and provide the tools and resources professionals need to succeed.
The Atlanta Gutter Contractors Association (AGCA) was born out of a shared passion for excellence and a vision to uplift the gutter industry. Founders James Scuka and Ariel Reyes, both deeply rooted in the world of small business and contracting, recognized a significant gap in the industry—a lack of dedicated resources, community, and professional support specifically tailored to gutter contractors.
Recognizing the Need
James, a seasoned professional in the gutter industry, had spent years building relationships, overcoming challenges, and perfecting the craft. Along the way, he noticed a common struggle: contractors were often working in isolation, without access to tools, education, or networks that could propel their businesses forward. The idea for a Atlanta association took root when James saw the overwhelming interest in events he organized, like the Gutter Summit, where contractors gathered to share ideas, learn, and grow together.
Ariel, an experienced entrepreneur with a background in process improvement and leadership, shared James’s vision. Ariel had spent his career helping businesses streamline operations and grow, and he saw the gutter industry as an untapped opportunity to bring contractors together and drive collective success. Ariel’s expertise in organization, outreach, and innovative problem-solving perfectly complemented James’s industry knowledge and connections.
A Shared Vision
United by a commitment to serve and elevate the industry, James and Ariel founded AGCA with three core principles in mind:
– Empowering Contractors: By providing access to resources, training, and professional development, AGCA aims to help gutter contractors grow their businesses and improve their craft.
– Fostering Community: AGCA is committed to creating a supportive network where contractors, vendors, and professionals can collaborate, share knowledge, and build meaningful relationships.
– Advocating for Excellence: The association champions industry best practices, ethical standards, and innovation to elevate the reputation of gutter contractors nationwide.
To empower gutter contractors, vendors, and industry professionals by fostering growth, promoting collaboration, and setting standards of excellence. The AGCA is dedicated to providing resources, education, and opportunities that drive success, innovation, and professionalism in the gutter industry.

From the outset, James and Ariel wanted AGCA to reflect the diversity of the industry. Recognizing the vital role of Hispanic contractors and other underrepresented groups, they prioritized creating bilingual resources, inclusive events, and targeted outreach programs to ensure that every professional feels welcomed and supported.
AGCA’s founding mission goes beyond networking; it is deeply rooted in the idea of growth through education. From webinars and workshops to certifications and best practices, AGCA provides contractors with the tools they need to succeed in an ever-changing market. The organization also serves as a bridge between contractors and trusted vendors, helping members access exclusive discounts, leads, and business opportunities.
James and Ariel envision AGCA as a national hub for gutter professionals, a place where every contractor—from small startups to seasoned businesses—can find the resources, support, and connections they need to thrive. The annual Gutter Summit, member-exclusive perks, and innovative programs like lead-sharing and marketing templates reflect their dedication to continuous improvement and long-term success.
